TSI operates two (2) congregate supported living sites, of which, one site is HUD-subsidized. Staff support is less than 24-hours per day, seven days per week for both programs.
HUD
This four-story apartment building is located in East Pittsburgh and consists of eight apartments with staff office on site. There are six single-occupancy and two double-occupancy apartments. Each apartment includes: individual bedroom(s), living room, eat-in kitchen, and bathroom. Laundry facilities are on site. There is also an outdoor covered patio with picnic table.
Staff are on-site seven days per week, however, staff are on site less than 24-hours per day. Transportation is paid for all individuals. Candidates must meet HUD income guidelines in order to receive the HUD rent stipend. Rent is set per HUD formula but will not exceed 30% of income. Also per HUD rules, this is a nonsmoking building. Candidates are not required to have a Section 8 voucher to apply for housing. Interested candidates are to contact the HUD Coordinator at 412-461-1322 ext. 1235 for more information.
