Merriam-Webster defines quality as the “degree of excellence of something.” To achieve excellence, one must work hard, achieve goals and continuously grow and improve. As an organization, we all need to strive for excellence in the services that we provide to all of our stakeholders. Achieving this will require us to measure the quality of the work we do and improve upon ourselves each day.
Each department, in partnership with the Quality Assurance Oversight Committee, has created goals that will help them to provide all stakeholders with great customer service. In the 2014/15 Fiscal Year, we will work to be timely, efficient and thorough in our communication. We will ensure that staff and the people we serve feel safe in their working and living environments. Retention and recruitment of quality employees will also be a focus going forward in our mission to achieve excellence.
“We will evaluate the outcomes every quarter and assist in creating a plan of action to address the outcomes that have not reached their targets.”
Our external stakeholders will be kept informed of the following outcomes during the 2014/15 fiscal year:
The Quality Assurance Oversight committee will evaluate the outcomes every quarter and assist the departments in creating a plan of action to address the outcomes that have not reached their targets. The committee will also review the activities of the organization and determine if there are any needed improvements that we should focus our efforts on. Together, we will achieve excellence.
